Privacy policy

Summary

Your privacy is important to us. You keep ownership of all data you make available to us, either at registration or when using the service. You are in control of the relationship you have with us.

Personal information

We require that you provide the following information when creating your subscription:

  1. Your company name. If you are subscribing as an individual or creating a subscription for a team, you can enter any identification that you deem suitable. We collect this information mostly for your benefit: it is used throughout the service so that you and people you invite to use it know what entity (company, team) is "renting" that particular space.
  2. Your full name. We collect this information mostly for your benefit: the service is designed around people and their needs; anynomity would render it less useful.
  3. Your e-mail address. You will use it as your login identifier. We also need it to send you occasional service-related communication. In the future, we will also use it for invoicing purposes. We will never use your e-mail address to send you unsolicited marketing information (SPAM) other than that you’ve requested. We will never share it with anyone else.
  4. Your password. We encrypt passwords using one-way encryption, meaning we do not know what your password is. You are fully responsible for choosing and remembering your password, we will never ask for it. We provide you with a secure means of obtaining a new password at any time.

You may also provide your OpenID identifier that you can use instead of e-mail/address combination to sign-in. We make a reasonable effort to support any OpenID compliant provider. We do not know nor will we ever ask for your OpenID password – we trust your OpenID provider to identify you.

Your data

The information you enter into the service during your subscription is yours. We do not use that information. We provide you with means of exporting your data at any time. We provide you with means of sharing your data inside and outside the service with people you choose.

We might collect statistical data about the overall usage, such as the total number of projects, requirements, etc., for the purpose of improving the service. We might publish this data without revealing any personal information. Should you explicitly ask that we do not collect statistical information about your usage of the service, we will honor your request.

The security of your data is our concern. We are using reliable 3rd party infrastructure providers to ensure your data is safe. However, the safety and security of your data also depends on you – do not share your password with anybody.
